Open ChatGPT, select your profile avatar, and open Settings.

Open Apps or Connectors
Open the Connectors or Apps section.
Note: The label may vary as the interface changes.

Enable Developer Mode
Enable Developer Mode in the advanced settings.
Note: Custom MCP connectors require Developer Mode.

Create a connector
Select Create or Add custom connector.

Name the connector
Use the name [Glushkov Modelling MCP] or any you want

Enter MCP server URL
Paste the public OAuth MCP endpoint into the MCP server URL field.

Select OAuth as the authentication method and confirm that you trust the MCP server.

Create and sign in
Select Create. In the authorization window, sign in or register for Glushkov Modelling MCP and confirm your email if required.
Note: Allow popup windows and cookies.

Wait for ChatGPT to complete Scan Tools and discover the server tools.
Note: Save the connector once the scan completes

Enable in chat
Start a new chat and enable Glushkov Modelling MCP before sending a request.
Ask your first archive question
Once the MCP tools are connected, send this prompt in a new ChatGPT conversation.

Confirmation link is expired or does not open
Start the sign-in flow again and request a new verification email. Confirmation links are time-limited and should be opened in the same browser session where possible.

The client asks to sign in again
Complete the OAuth flow in the same browser window opened by the client. Allow cookies and popup windows, then return to the client only after sign-in has completed.

The server cannot be added
Check that the public OAuth endpoint is exactly https://mcp.glushkov-modelling.com/mcp-oauth. Do not use the legacy /mcp endpoint, a Keycloak URL, or an API key.

Tools do not appear after OAuth
Close and reopen the chat or application, then check the connector status in the client settings. Confirm that the connector is connected and enabled for the current chat or Agent session.
