The aim of these materials is not to create a comprehensive course on ship modeling or to repeat well known basics for the hundredth time, but to clarify certain aspects of building ship models based on personal experience and on real models presented on this site. Let’s look at how the information is organized and how to use it

The Tutorials section is a series of short multimedia materials, each of which has a set of attributes assigned to it:

  • category (usually a subject area), for example “Rigging”
  • a conditional target audience level (beginner, experienced, advanced), which helps filter out materials that may not be interesting to you
  • a set of tags

Each tutorial can also link to other materials and to models from the collection. A filter panel on the left helps you quickly find the materials you need.
